June 17, 2026, Adrian, Michigan – At the end of summer, we are invited to appreciate the results of our work with seeds we planted in the spring. The same is true of our writing.
Participants in the writing workshop, In Full Flower, have the opportunity to write and to let the other writers in the group provide feedback. It can be touching to hear how listeners are moved by the words you choose to use and the stories or poems you have written. Beginning and advanced writers are welcome.
The workshop is offered in person and through Zoom from 1:00 p.m. EDT to 4:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center. Sister Tarianne DeYonker, OP, an Adrian Dominican Sister and a certified leader of Amherst Writers and Artists workshops, facilitates. Share the event flyer (PDF).
The cost of the workshop is $35. A Zoom link will be provided closer to the time of the event. Registration is required. Visit www.webercenter.org and click on “programs,” call 517-266-4000, or email [email protected].

April 28, 2026, Adrian, Michigan – What nurturing does our writing need to grow into finished works? Observing master writers and teachers can give us new information and encourage us to try new methods.
That is the focus of the next Writing Workshop, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, in person at Weber Retreat and Conference Center. Come join other new and experienced writers – in person or on Zoom – to write to prompts, read our just-written work, and receive feedback. A Zoom link will be sent closer to the date of the workshop.
The workshop is facilitated by Sister Tarianne DeYonker, OP, an Adrian Dominican Sister and a certified leader of Amherst Writers and Artists workshops. Share the flyer (PDF) for this event.
