What's Happening

August 21, 2026, Adrian, Michigan – A celebration of the Autumn Equinox, facilitated by Sister Esther Kennedy, OP, begins at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Garden Room at Weber Retreat and Conference Center.

All are invited to celebrate the third turning of Earth’s seasons at this time of gratitude and storytelling. Come enjoy the company of others as we celebrate this new season.

A Dominican Sister of Adrian, Sister Esther is a spiritual director and retreat leader who facilitates monthly mindfulness sessions at Weber Center.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters Motherhouse, Adrian, Michigan. On East Siena Heights Drive, turn into the driveway between Adrian Rea Literacy Center and the solar panel-covered carport. Follow the signs to Weber Center. Come celebrate the joys of summer with the Summer Solstice Celebration, held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center. The celebration is facilitated by Sister Esther Kennedy, an Adrian Dominican Sister, retreat director, spiritual director, and facilitator of monthly Days of Mindfulness.
