August 15, 2025, Adrian, Michigan – Weber Retreat and Conference Center hosts a celebration of the Autumn Equinox from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The celebration focuses on the harvest, which we gather from the Earth with great gratitude, celebrating the abundance with word, song, and dance to welcome Autumn.

The Autumn Equinox Celebration is facilitated by Sister Esther Kennedy, OP, a Dominican Sister of Adrian who ministers as a retreat director, spiritual director, and facilitator of Weber Center’s monthly Days of Mindfulness.

The event is free and open to all. Registration is not required. 

Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters Motherhouse, Adrian, Michigan. On East Siena Heights Drive, turn into the driveway between Adrian Rea Literacy Center and the solar panel-covered carport. Follow the signs to Weber Center. May 23, 2025, Adrian, Michigan – As Earth reaches the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, all are invited to join in the ritual celebration of the Summer Solstice from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center.

The celebration strengthens our commitment to Earth, our precious planet home, as we gather in song, walk in beauty with the ancestors, and celebrate our bonds of connection. Bring a friend and welcome Summer. The event is free and open to all. No registration is required.
