October 15, 2025, Adrian, Michigan – Do you want to prepare your heart and soul for the coming of Jesus at Christmas and in your daily life? Adrian Dominican Sister Carol Ann Gross, OP, offers an Advent Retreat: Encounter with Sunday Advent Scriptures, from 6:30 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, through 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center.

The Sunday readings from Isaiah and Matthew provide a profound Scriptural preparation for the coming of the Messiah into our world. Listening to the Scriptures, reflecting on their meaning, and quietly contemplating the Word will prepare us for living fully to recognize and accept the new experience of God, beginning with Jesus Christ.

Sister Carol has been a director and teacher of spiritual direction, a pastoral minister, and a retreat director in both the United States and the Dominican Republic.

The cost is $125 for commuters, $225 per person double occupancy, and $325 single occupancy. The cost includes all meals for those staying at Weber Center and lunch for commuters.
