How this ministry enriches my life: I preach weekend retreats and one-day reflection days. I offer individual spiritual direction and individually directed retreats. All of this enriches my life because I am doing what I enjoy, and beyond that, it is an honor and privilege to walk with lay women and men on their spiritual journey with their God. It is an awesome experience to witness God’s love and action in people’s lives.

Capuchin Retreat is a jewel near Romeo, which is apple and peach country. We have 95 acres of land with trails, a small lake, and plenty of wildlife, since we back up to Stony Creek Metro Park. Nature plays a big role in our retreat ministry as it provides the space people need when they are on retreat.

This ministry stretches me since I am called upon to keep abreast of new areas of spirituality and prepare for preaching and conferences. The whole ministry calls me to new places in my own life as I find what I preach is as much for me as for those with whom I share.
