Catherine House is a place of quiet and a place of gathering. It is a Southwest house of hospitality for the Adrian Dominican Sisters, Associates, friends and those seeking to follow a mission consistent with that of the Adrian Dominicans to "Seek Truth, Make Peace, Reverence Life.”

Sister Geneal Kramer and Sister Pauline Richter begin their seventh year of ministry at Catherine House with continuing study nights and reflection days. Last year we used the Women Witnesses collection from FutureChurch. This year we will use the second collection which will be available at Catherine House in August for $10 per packet.

For more imformation, contact Sister Geneal or Sister Pauline at (505) 254-1723.

Calendar of Events

All programs are at Catherine House, 621 Richmond NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.

Study evenings begin at 4 pm on Sunday evenings and include evening prayer followed by communal study and a light supper. Reflection days are from 9 am-3 pm and include presentations, reflection time and lunch.

Our study on March 16 will be from Sue Monk Kidd's book When the Heart Waits, published by Harper One. (Plus Edition). The Plus edition has questions for reflection and journaling which we thought would be good Lenten reading and reflection. The ISBN # is 978-0-06-114489-9. It is available my copy at Hastings, but we are sure it is available everywhere since this edition was released in 2006.

For the March 16 meeting we will share on the first five chapters which is Part 1 and 2. On April 13 we will share on chapters 6-8 or Part 3 and 4. This division honors the liturgical seasons of darkness and light. We think this book will give us much to talk about.

We look forward to this gathering in March and at that time will have information on our day of reflection in May.

For details, reservations and study materials, contact Sister Geneal or Sister Pauline at (505) 254-1723.
