The
Dominican
Life
Center
Dietary
Services
Dietary
and nutritional services are provided to Dominican Life Center residents.
Maria residents
are provided breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Maria Dining Room. All
meals have a high nutritional quality and accommodate a variety of special
diets. Fresh produce is served daily with each meal. For those sisters
who aren't able to take meals in the dining room, meal tray service is
available. Residents also have access to communal kitchenettes, which
are stocked with limited breakfast and snack items.
A
nutritional assessment is completed for each sister who is new to the
Maria, and is conducted on a yearly basis thereafter or at the request
of the sister's primary care provider.
Regina residents
have their own full-service kitchens and may choose to eat meals in the
Maria or Madden Hall dining rooms. Dietary counseling is offered to sisters
in both the Maria and Regina residences by appointment.
