“God invites all persons to fullness of life in a mutual relationship of love and freedom.

We form ourselves in response to this invitation out of the context of our Christian, Catholic, Dominican, Congregation and personal histories.

We center our formation on our identity as women who are gifted with the potential for full human life in Christ.

Formation is a lifelong process in which, sensitive to the signs of the times, we prepare responsibly for mission that is global in perspective.

It includes study as a continuing means of growth inseparably linked with an authentic prayer life and the capacity to discern the promptings of the Spirit.

It attends to the total well-being of the person in the promotion of spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional health.

Each of our Sisters accepts the responsibility to continue in the lifelong process of creative growth toward integration both individually and within the Congregation as its life unfolds.”

Adrian Dominican Constitution and Statues, 15-16.
