Adrian Dominican’s Letter to the Editor Focuses on Christians in Iraq

March 3, Adrian, Michigan – In a letter to the editor published in the March 2, 2010 issue of The Adrian Telegram, Adrian, Michigan, Adrian Dominican Sister Durstyne Farnan, OP, recounts the horrors that Christians have been facing recently in Iraq, including the assassination of an elderly Christian man and his sons in their home. The U.S. Dominican Iraq Coordinating Committee has written to Cardinal Francis George, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, asking them to use their influence to stop the persecution.
