Reflection on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011
by Sister Attracta Kelly, OP If we wish to hear the voices of the heavenly hosts of angels now, we need to be with the shepherds of our day: those on the edge, those who are afraid, those who are in hiding, those who are homeless, the unemployed, those trafficked, the street people.

Sister Attracta’s Response at the Celebration of Leadership
Sister Attracta Kelly, OP
How do we listen to one another? As Dominicans, we try to do our listening out of our tradition of contemplation. “Contemplare et complata alies tradere”: We contemplate in order to listen for the truth in every situation, so that we know how to respond to others.

Sister Donna Markham, OP
"There is no greater love than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." . . . Today is a day for us to celebrate such great love, for such selfless love is certainly the force that has motivated each Jubilarian to offer herself to God . . .

Easter Reflection
Mary Pat Dewey, OP
The women were the first to visit the tomb and they were the first to experience Resurrection. I find it curious that the above account is told on a Tuesday and never on a Sunday.

First Sunday of Advent
Joan Delaplane, OP
It’s that time again! What to give this Christmas to one who seems to have everything? Speaking of which, what does God want from me?
