Justice Promoters
The Adrian Dominican Justice Promoters are the people who make our mission of Justice and Peace happen. As a congregation our sisters and associates are stationed all over the United States and beyond, with a structure of chapters based on regions. For each chapter we have a Justice Promoter who is a conduit between their chapter and the Office of Global Mission, Justice and Peace. Together we examine the issues and carry out the Vision of justice and peace.

Partner Organizations
Because justice and peace are the fruits of community building, we recognize the importance of collaboration. In addition to our Chapter justice promoters, we rely on two partner organizations. Both Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center (IPJC) and 8th Day Center for Justice generate resources for activism, community building, and living a spirituality of justice and peace.
Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center promotes just structures in the Church and in the world. IPJC is sponsored by 16 religious communities and collaborates with Catholic, ecumenical, interfaith and other organizations in carrying out this mission.
8th Day Center for Justice envisions a world of right relationships where all creation is sacred and interconnected. With Christian faith, we work for structural change toward creation of a more just world.
NETWORK is a progressive voice within the Catholic community that has been influencing Congress in favor of peace and justice for more than 30 years. Through lobbying and legislative advocacy, we strive to close the gap between rich and poor and to dismantle policies rooted in racism, greed, and violence.
The
Center of Concern is a faith-based organization working in collaboration with ecumenical and interfaith networks to bring a prophetic voice for social and economic justice to a global context. The Center is both a provider of information and analysis and a catalyst for launching projects to address issues or opportunities that advance an authentic human development agenda. Through analysis, education, advocacy and capacity building, the Center challenges structural injustice and promotes innovative economic alternatives.
The
Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) Region VII Justice Promoters represent the justice offices of eight congregations in the Michigan-Indiana area. Cross-congregational solidarity, collaboration and drawing from the strengths of our diverse charisms are the foundation of our justice advocacy. Through these collaborations we are able to confront regional, national, and religious justice issues.
North American Dominican Justice Promoters Care of Creation (NADJPCC)
The Dominican Family of men and women in North America stand together in the Dominican Charism to advocate for justice and peace.
Dominicans at the United Nations
The Dominican Family has permanent Non-Government Organization (NGO) status at the United Nations. We have a representative in Geneva and New York. As an NGO we contribute statements to the United Nations. Since we have men and women on mission in most countries, we can offer an intimate perspective when conflicts or natural disasters occur.
