December 10, 2021, Orlando, Florida
– Barry University President Michael Allen awarded the institution’s President’s Medallion on December 2, 2021, to Barry University Law School alumna Tiffany Faddis ’02 in celebration of her passionate dedication to serving victims and upholding the highest standards in civil justice.

The award presentation took place during the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law holiday party at the Barry Law Campus Courtyard.

Tiffany, a personal injury attorney for close to two decades, holds a deep commitment to advocacy that stems from her childhood, when her brother suffered a traumatic and disabling injury. Her family struggled to navigate the system and secure appropriate life-improving care.

Of her vocation, Tiffany said, “Making sure each person has access to courts and a voice, after having been victimized through no fault of their own, makes my job and work ethic tireless.”

This tireless work ethic is reflected in her many accomplishments, including serving as President of the Florida Justice Association and receiving the 2020 Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers Inaugural Distinction Award, “Legacy Builder.”

The Barry University President’s Medallion is awarded to a community member at the discretion of the institution’s president, and honors exemplary service and professional distinction in the spirit of Barry’s Mission and Core Commitments: knowledge and truth, inclusive community, social justice, and collaborative service.

“It is a privilege to present the President’s Medallion to Tiffany Faddis,” Michael said. “We are most grateful to her for representing Barry and our ideals through her inspirational and important work.”
