72 Years of Service Celebrated at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals

July 16, 2019, Henderson, Nevada – Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Hospitals celebrated 72 years of service in Las Vegas in early July. The celebration coincided with the assumption of Lawrence Barnard as President and CEO of the Siena Campus in Henderson. Adrian Dominican Sisters purchased Basic Magnesium Hospital in Henderson from the U.S. government in 1947 and ultimately transformed it into a system of three acute care hospitals, four micro neighborhood hospitals, two outpatient surgery centers and a medical group. Unless I missed it, but the hospital was purchased for one dollar from the govt. Congrats
