The New Little Free Library Shares Fruits of Literacy
Specify Alternate Text

Adrian, Michigan – Thanks to a recent donation by the Adrian Morning Rotary Club, the literacy center has expanded its reach to passers-by who might want to enjoy the fruits of literacy, as well as to adult learners.

The Adrian Morning Rotary Club has donated, delivered, and installed a Little Free Library and a bench in front of the Adrian Rea Literacy Center. What is this Little Free Library? It is a “take a book, return a book” gathering place. The Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share.

The box was built by high school students at the Lenawee Intermediate School District and painted by students from Adrian High School.

If you live in Adrian or plan a visit to Adrian, don’t be shy. Come and enjoy Adrian Rea’s new Little Free Library.
