October 13, 2020, West Palm Beach, Florida – Rosarian Academy formally began the celebration of its 95th year the week of October 5-9, 2020, with a series of special events and activities.

The week began as students and faculty members honored the school’s history by dressing as 95-year-olds and watching a presentation of photos from the past

Special events during the week also included the celebration First Holy Communion for third-grade students during a special Liturgy on October 7. The next day, the National Junior Honor Society led the school in collecting used DVDs for U.S. military troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan or recuperating in U.S. bases. Rosarian Week concluded Friday with a spaghetti lunch for students and faculty members and an early dismissal.

“Rosarian Week is always filled with activities that remind us how blessed we are to be part of this dynamic, loving, and caring Adrian Dominican community,” Linda M. Trethewey, Head of School, wrote in a letter to Rosarian Academy family members and friends. “Although some of the traditional activities that take place throughout the week have been reimagined or postponed, the teachers, staff, students, and parents are embracing the changes. Thank you, once again, for your resilience, commitment, and flexibility as we continue to remain vigilant to ensure the continued health and safety of our community.”

Rosarian Academy, sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, was founded in 1925. The strong academic program is enriched by athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), coding, art, drama, music theory, and Spanish classes begin in kindergarten.
