This mansion on Kelleys Island, purchased by the Adrian Dominican Sisters in 1931, was transformed into a summer camp run by the Congregation. Many Adrian Dominicans today remember going to Kelleys Island as postulants to clean up the camp for the summer.
3. Adrian Dominican Sister Mary Sue Kennedy, OP looks on as a client of Women Blessing Women works on the computer. Located in Toledo, Women Blessing Women is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for women age 18 and over dedicated to empowering women living in poverty to achieve success, gain confidence and obtain living wage jobs. Sister Mary Sue, Vicar for Religious of the Diocese of Toledo in 1997, led the women religious in the diocese in a discussion on how to serve women living in poverty.
