This undated photo shows Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz at about the time that it was taken over by the Adrian Dominican Sisters and known for years as Sisters Hospital.
Pictured in December, 1950, is Dominican Hospital (renamed back then, “Sisters Hospital”). The Adrian Dominican Sisters purchased and took over the old Santa Cruz hospital on Soquel Avenue. It was a larger facility, housing 51 beds in a three-story structure.
