Sister Sue Gardner Tells Michigan Radio of the Need to Heal Native Americans Suffering from Boarding Schools

– Sister Susan Gardner, OP, the Director of the Native American Apostolate for the Diocese of Gaylord, Michigan, was interviewed on Michigan Radio about the damage done to Native American students at boarding schools and the need to extend healing to those who were physically and psychologically harmed. Sister Sue, who also ministers at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Suttons Bay, Michigan, had ministered with Native Americans in the Archdiocese of Keewatin-Le Pas in Canada as well.
