Using the words of Pope Francis, Sister Janet provides mini-retreats to help catechists find new ways to integrate their ministry with their prayer life. She also offers new opportunities for prayer and reflection and practical suggestions for daily life.
A retreat leader and a consultant for catechists and adult faith formation leaders, Sister Janet also once served as Director of Adult Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Detroit. She is a recipient the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) Distinguished Service Award.
Sister Janet has written numerous books and resources for catechists, including Spirituality for Catechists and The Creed: A Catechist’s Guide. She also writes annual Advent reflection booklets.

Sister Janet’s second new book, How to Talk to Children about Jesus, gives parents practical tips on how to discuss with their children Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and major teachings, and suggests family activities and prayers.
