Sister Nancy Murray Portrays Amazon Martyr, Sister Dorothy Stang

April 4, 2016, Frankfort, Illinois – Sister Nancy Murray, OP, helped the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart to celebrate their 150th anniversary with her one-woman portrayal of Sister Dorothy Stang. She has portrayed Sister Dorothy, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, nearly 50 times, bringing to life the woman’s dedication to the people of the Amazon and to Earth and her resulting martyrdom.
