March 18, 2019, Adrian, Michigan – Sister Patricia Walter, OP, and Father R.B. Williams, OP, will lead participants in a special retreat, “Beginning the Holy Week Journey Together.” The retreat is held at Weber Retreat and Conference Center from 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 through 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019.

The retreat offers participants ample free time to contemplate Jesus’ last days in the context of his life and of our own. Participants also gather twice a day for common prayer, preaching, and reflection.

Sister Patricia, former Prioress of the Adrian Dominican Congregation, has given retreats around the world. She has ministered at Siena Heights University in Adrian; Aquinas Institute, a Dominican graduate school in St. Louis, Missouri; the Angelicum in Rome; and St. Mary Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio.

Father R.B. is a missioner for the Dominican community in Lubbock, Texas. He has ministered in education and campus ministry and, more recently, has preached parish missions and retreats. 

The cost, including meals and snacks, is $130 for commuters, $325 per person for double occupancy; and $425 for single occupancy. February 18, 2019, Adrian, Michigan – Two Adrian Dominican Sisters are offering an educational series that explores the promises and challenges associated with aging. Sisters Patricia Walter, OP, and Carol Johannes, OP, present the Aging and Spirituality series from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 5, 12, and 19, 2019, at Weber Retreat and Conference Center.

Sister Patricia taught theology at Siena Heights University in Adrian; Aquinas Institute of Theology, a Dominican graduate school in St. Louis, Missouri; the Angelicum in Rome; and St. Mary Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Sister Carol has been involved in the ministry of spiritual direction and has conducted workshops, directed retreats, and led groups exploring issues of spirituality. Both Sister Carol and Sister Patricia are former Prioresses of the Adrian Dominican Congregation.
