April 12, 2017, St. Louis, Missouri – During their spring break, the three novices in the Collaborative Dominican Novitiate – Sister Katherine Frazier, Dominican Sister of Adrian, and Sisters Ana Gonzalez and Margaret Uche, Dominican Sisters of Peace – took a tour of Dominican congregations. These Congregations included the Dominican Sisters of Amityville, Blauvelt, Caldwell, and Maryknoll, all in New York. The novices completed their tour at the Adrian Dominican Sisters Motherhouse before returning to the novitiate in St. Louis, Missouri. View the video scrapbook of their adventures, created by Sister Ana.
October 28, 2016, St. Louis, Missouri – Sister Katherine Frazier, an Adrian Dominican novice, reflects on the Congregation, comparing it to a symphony. In a blog for the Collaborative Dominican Novitiate in St. Louis, she specifically compares the Adrian Dominican Sisters to Anton Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, the New World Symphony. Like this classic work, the Sisters are rooted in the foundation of the Congregation, but are preaching the Gospel through instruments familiar to the people of our day.
